I’ve been brewing my own Kombucha since July of this year and have fell in love with how this drink makes me feel! If you’re unfamiliar with Kombucha, take a moment and get familiar with this super-beverage.

Making kombucha is easy and requires four things: brewed tea, sugar, a SCOBY, and love. I’ve experimented with different sugars and teas and came up with this sweet and smooth variation I call Green Tea Honey. This brew has a light, refreshing taste and can be tailored to the level of fizz you enjoy! The brewing instructions are the same, but the ingredients shift slightly.

Green Tea Honey Kombucha
6 bags Green Tea (or 6 tsp loose leaf green tea)
1/2 cup evaporated cane sugar
1/2 cup honey

Let brew for about 8 days before removing SCOBY and bottling. If you prefer more fizz, increase your brew time.
